The Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashvili has joined the Minister of Tourism of Italy Massimo Garavaglia to formally launch the primary Global Youth Tourism Summit. Set to happen in Sorrento, Italy from 27 June to three July, the Summit will deliver youngsters and youth from each world area collectively, giving them a platform to share their imaginative and prescient and hopes for the sector.
In line with UNWTO’s dedication to youth empowerment, the initiative can even permit individuals to community with leaders from the worlds of politics and enterprise, making them part of the decision-making course of as tourism fulfils its potential as a driver of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
